Gilbert High School has one of the most decorated marching bands in Arizona.
The Gilbert High School band program, under the skillful leadership of Director Ron André, has been recognized as one of the top high school marching bands in the nation. The Tiger Pride Marching Band performs in the stands and during halftime at Gilbert High School varsity football games, and participates in competitions in Arizona and California.
In addition, the Tiger Pride has been invited to participate in regional and national events including the Rose Bowl Parade and the Presidential Inaugural Parade. They have traveled as far as Dublin, Ireland, and on January 1, 2021, the Gilbert Tiger Pride Marching Band will once again participate in the London New Year's Day Parade.
In 2017, the marching band traveled to Hawaii to participate in the Waikiki Holiday Parade over Thanksgiving break.
