Your Gilbert Band Booster board provides as many opportunities as possible to raise funds to help cover the costs of the marching band, winter guard, and winter drumline programs. There are three kinds of fundraisers:
Funds raised go directly toward a student’s fees.
Funds raised help to cover general band expenses. Remember – your band fees only cover a percentage of the total cost of running our award-winning programs. All students are expected to participate in general fundraisers to help keep fees as low as possible.
Certain fundraisers will be designated for trips – most frequently, the annual marching band trip to California and the “big trips” held about every three years.
