Gilbert's Tiger Pride Band

Welcome To The GHS Marching Band Website

The Gilbert High School band program, under the skillful leadership of Director Ron Andre, has been recognized as one of the top high school bands in the nation.  Because of this recognition, the band is invited to participate in regional and national events.  They have performed in the Rose Bowl, the Presidential Inauguration Parade, and have traveled as far as Dublin, Ireland.  This year, the Gilbert Tiger Pride has been invited to participate in the London New Year's Day Parade on January 1, 2015.  In addition to performing at events, the Tiger Pride Marching Band performs at our half time show during the varsity football games.

Gilbert has one of the most decorated marching bands in the State of Arizona.  Since the inception of the State Marching Band Championships back in 2008, Gilbert has never placed lower than 3rd Place.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!  The strength of the Gilbert Band Boosters (GBB) depends on how much you are willing to be involved.  The more people we have volunteering, the easier the job's become.  It takes a lot of parent help to move the band.  Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents, strike up friendships, network, and get the opportunity to hang around some of the best kids in the world.  I guarantee you will have fun!

Sign up to help out via Charms. Click on the Charms button and if prompted, enter "TigerPride2011" as the school code then click on the "volunteer needs" tab.

You can also view the calendar via Charms to see what events are forthcoming!
